The Corporate Governance Professional Association (CGPA) in Ukraine is the first institute of directors joining ecoDa as candidate member. As candidate member CGPA will benefit from ecoDa’s professional representation and network of European directors.
“By introducing a candidate membership ecoDa hopes to support a pool of directors who can also gain experience in other European countries. CGPA have a membership of relatively young directors, well trained, and ready to serve in European companies, underlines Béatrice Richez-Baum, Director General of ecoDa.
The Ukrainian association was created in 2009 but the tragic situation that Ukraine is currently experiencing encourages ecoDa to strengthen its ties with CGPA without further delay. “This relationship is essential to maintain our pool of active directors in close connection with the rest of Europe”, added Oleksandr Okuniev, Chairman of the CGPA Management Board. “We are very happy about this connection and will do everything we can to support Ukraine in our own way”, pointed out Leena Linnainmaa, ecoDa’s Chair.
