Ken Rushton

Ken Rushton graduated from Trinity College Dublin and joined Imperial Chemical Industries in 1968. He was appointed Company Secretary in 1996. In 2000 he took up the position of Director of the Institute of Business Ethics. In 2001 he was appointed to the Financial Services Authority as Head of the UK Listing Authority. Since 2005 he has been an adviser to the Financial Reporting Council (2005-06) and a corporate governance consultant (Board Insight, Nestor Advisors).
Ken is a member of the Private Sector Advisory Group of the Global Corporate Governance Forum, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators and a trustee of the Institute of Business Ethics. He is the editor of”The Business Case for Corporate Governance” (Cambridge University Press).
