11.09.2025Free Online Course for Public Utilities: Corporate Governance and Anti-Corruption Compliance

Ukraine has launched a training module entitled “Corporate Governance and Anti-Corruption Compliance in Municipal Enterprises”, which aims to increase the transparency and efficiency of municipal enterprise management and to develop a comprehensive approach to combating corruption in management.

This training module was developed by the Corporate Governance Professional Association (CGPA) at the initiative of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine in cooperation with the National Agency for Corruption Prevention and with the support of the Multi-Donor Account for Stabilization and Sustainable Development of Ukraine (MDA), administered by the EBRD.

Who is it for? The training will be beneficial for managers of municipal enterprises, anti-corruption officers, compliance officers, and anyone seeking to gain in-depth knowledge on implementing effective anti-corruption measures within their organization.

What does the training offer? Participants will acquire practical skills in integrating anti-corruption mechanisms into their enterprises’ activities. They will learn how to develop anti-corruption policies, assess corruption risks, and build an effective corruption prevention system.

The program consists of eight sections covering key aspects of organizing anti-corruption work, including regulatory requirements, risk assessment, management responsibility, and anti-corruption strategies. The training format includes video lectures, interactive presentations, practical case studies, decision-making simulators, and knowledge tests. Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive a certificate of completion.

To take the course, you need to register on the EBRD Policy Academy training platform and select the training module “Corporate Governance and Anti-Corruption Compliance in State-Owned Enterprises.” The training is flexible, with an estimated workload of 1-2 hours per week.
