12.11.2025Legal risks of AI in corporate governance: current conclusions of GovernancePro+ experts

On November 11, a webinar entitled “Artificial Intelligence in the Activities of Supervisory Boards” was held as part of the GovernancePro service package. The speaker at the event was Ilarion Tomarov, advisor and head of intellectual property practice at Vasil Kisil & Partners Law Firm, who spoke, in particular, about:

  • the development of artificial intelligence, how it is changing corporate governance, and what legal consequences the integration of AI into decision-making processes at the board level may have;
  • practical cases regarding companies’ liability for AI actions, examples of court cases, and the risks of using intelligent agents;
  • the EU AI Act, issues of algorithmic accountability, ethical aspects of AI decisions, and the future of legal regulation of technologies in the corporate sector

In the second part of the event, Oleksandr Okuniev, Chairman of the CGPA Board of Directors, commented on the latest developments in corporate governance—from public sector reforms to NSSMC initiatives and preparations for the VIII International Forum of Corporate Directors.
