The Mykolaiv City Council has launched an open competitive selection process for the positions of independent members of the supervisory board of the municipal enterprise “Mykolaivelectrotrans.” This step is an important part of the city’s strategy to ensure transparency and effective management of municipal enterprises, aimed at implementing modern approaches to their operations and development.
The Ukrainian Corporate Governance Institute has been selected as the partner for selecting candidates for the three independent seats on the supervisory board. Oleksandr Okunev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporate Governance Professional Association, has been appointed secretary of the selection committee. The selection committee consists of nine members: the mayor, city council members, experts in corporate governance and transportation, representatives of the public, and a representative of the Danish Embassy.

The selection process is supported by the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI)

Candidates are invited to participate in efforts aimed at improving corporate governance and implementing best practices within the company.
