Member of the CGPA Board of Directors, Director of EMCON Yevgen Petryk will take part in the first meeting of the Working Group on the development of the Methodology for determining the final beneficial owner by a legal entity under the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine (hereinafter – the Methodology).

It is planned to discuss comments and suggestions to the draft Methodology during the meeting.

The details of the discussion and the results will be announced later.

Under the requirements of the fourth paragraph of part two of Article 51 of the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention and Counteraction to Legalisation (Laundering) of Proceeds of Crime, Terrorist Financing and Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction”, in order to develop a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Approval of the Methodology for Determining the Final Beneficial Owner by a Legal Entity” following a public discussion, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine by its order No. 192 dated 14.04.2023 (attached) established a working group to develop the Methodology.
