28.03.2025New disclosure requirements: summary of the CGPA expert webinar

On March 26-27, 2025, a two-day webinar entitled “Disclosure of Information 2025: How Can Issuers Avoid Mistakes?“ was held, organized by the Corporate Governance Professional Association (CGPA) and the Ukrainian Institute of Corporate Governance with the participation of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC) and the State Agency “ARIFRU.”

The event brought together a significant number of participants, including corporate secretaries, lawyers, securities specialists, and other professionals involved in the disclosure of regulated information. Oleksandr Okuniev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CGPA, opened the event and welcomed the participants.

The speakers were leading experts in the field: Maksym Libanov, member of the NSSMC; Olena Stupak, executive director of EMKON LLC, member of the CGPA; Galyna Zhuravlova, Head of the Legal Department of ARIFRU, who analyzed and provided their recommendations on the following issues:

  • new requirements for disclosure of information in accordance with NSSMC Decision No. 28/21/1933/K03;
  • features of submitting annual, interim, and special information;
  • requirements for financial reporting and auditing;
  • the most common mistakes made by issuers and ways to avoid them;
  • the use of software for preparing and submitting reports.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to ask questions in a Q&A format, which helped deepen their understanding of the practical application of the updated legislation. Special attention was paid to the specifics of information disclosure during martial law and liability for failure to meet deadlines.

The event served as an effective platform for discussing current issues in information disclosure and helped issuers better prepare for changes in regulatory requirements.

We would like to thank all participants and speakers for their active participation and meaningful discussions!
