At its regular meeting, the Board of the National Registry of Corporate Directors (hereinafter – the Registry) decided unanimously to include Iryna Aleynikova, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC Bank PORTAL, and Viktoriya Mykhailo, former Chairman of the Management Board of Alfa Bank (until 2021) and Chairman of the Taxation and Accounting Committee of the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine (NABU), in the Registry.

Viktoriya Mykhailo is a senior professional with over 25 years of experience in Ukraine’s banking and investment sectors. She has in-depth expert knowledge of Ukrainian banking and financial legislation. For ten years, she has been among the best CEOs in Ukraine, and since 2014 has been annually recognised among the top 40 most influential women in Ukraine. Victoria positions herself as an ICF scaling coach, a practising certified life and executive coach, mentor.
While chairing the NABU Committee, she initiated and led the review of a portfolio of draft laws in the field of taxation and accounting, which were subsequently integrated into Ukrainian legislation, policies and regulations of the NBU and the State Securities and Stock Market Commission. She reviewed, facilitated and provided comments and participated in discussions on new initiatives related to bank taxation, stress testing, debt collection, etc.
During her work at Alfa Bank, Viktoriya managed the mergers and acquisitions of Ukrsotsbank and Bank of Cyprus, which contributed to inorganic growth and allowed the bank to become No. 2 among the largest private banks in Ukraine with assets of over USD 4 billion and a staff of about 6,500 employees. She chaired the bank’s Credit Committee, ALCO, Budget, Tenders, Financial Monitoring and Compliance, and Project Management Committees. She maintained fruitful cooperation with the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and other government agencies, which ensured the harmonisation of legislative norms with the changes and integration into the bank’s automated business process. She led the bank during financial crises and turbulence, ensuring the achievement of strategic goals. In 2016-2021, she managed the recovery of bad debts in the amount of over USD 200 million.

In recent years, Iryna Aleynikova has risen from an independent member to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC Bank PORTAL. Her knowledge and experience proved to be crucial for the successful development of the bank and its strategic planning.
In July 2015, Iryna became a member of the Supervisory Board of JSC Bank PORTAL, where she was actively involved in the development of the bank’s strategy and long-term development plan. Iryna’s particular focus was on information technology, as well as identifying staff needs and managing distressed assets. Her professionalism and expertise did not go unnoticed, and in October 2022 she was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board, which is a well-deserved recognition of her efforts and work in the bank.
In 2018, Iryna Aleynikova was invited by the management and owners of Gilenfla Vieux to become a financial consultant and later a corporate governance advisor. Her assistance in establishing the corporate governance system in this company proved to be extremely important for its development and growth.
A visible mark in Iryna’s biography is her long-term cooperation with PJSC IC ORIANA, where she held the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Board in 2001-2011. Her experience in the insurance industry has been and remains an undeniable value for the companies she works with.
It is also worth noting that Irina Aleynikova was actively involved in the work of the Nuclear Insurance Pool Association, where she was a member of the Audit Committee and an invited member of the Finance Committee. Her contribution to the development and stability of this association was integral. Throughout her professional career, Irina Aleynikova has been recognised and respected by her colleagues and business partners.
