A year has passed since the creation of the Corporate Directors Solidarity Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund), an initiative of the Corporate Governance Professional Association (CGPA) and the Ukrainian Institute of Corporate Governance. The purpose of the Fund is to support those who, due to the war, are unable to independently finance their participation in the Corporate Director Professional Development Program for Board Members (hereinafter referred to as the Program).
During this time, thanks to the joint support of Program graduates and caring members of our community, three military personnel have already received scholarships and completed their training. This is not just training. It is a step towards recovery, professional growth, and the future.
Today, we are once again reaching out to everyone who has completed the Program, who shares the values of responsible management, who wants to help those in need of this support:
🔹We encourage you to join the Fund – make a contribution and help even more military personnel, veterans, and affected entrepreneurs continue their professional development.
🔹 We invite candidates – military personnel, veterans, individuals involved in corporate governance whose businesses have been affected by the war – to apply for scholarships to participate in the Program.
We are pleased to announce that the Fund has been replenished by 136,000 hryvnia thanks to contributions from our graduates and caring community members. These funds will allow us to award two more scholarships for participation in the upcoming Corporate Director Program, which is scheduled for November 2025. This means that two more candidates in need of support will be able to continue their professional development and improve their qualifications in the field of corporate governance.
The procedure for submitting and reviewing applications remains unchanged: after submitting the application form and documents, candidates are interviewed by the Nomination Committee. The final decision on awarding scholarships is made by the CGPA Board of Directors.
