On February 18, 2019, at the regular meeting of the Board of the National Registry of Corporate Directors, all members of the Registry Board agreed to include Bogdan Budzan to the National Registry of Corporate Directors. He is a well-known scientist, government and public person, management and business education specialist, professional coach and business consultant, member of the supervisory boards and boards of a number of Ukrainian companies and international organizations.

Bogdan Budzan is a Full Member (Academician) of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences in the field of strategic management. Doctor of Philosophy of Technical Sciences (PhD). Professional coach and business consultant. Specialist in problems of strategy, leadership, communication, oratory, motivation and self-management.

He is a graduate of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute, the Higher Economic School of Economic Management in Ukraine. He completed training in management development and corporate management programs in Ukraine, Austria, Italy, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States; and in programs for senior management personnel in Harvard and London business schools, as well as in a special corporate management program for members of supervisory boards of business companies and other organizations at the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne (IMD).

For 11 years, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of the International Institute of Management, and for 9 years was a President of this Institute (1994-2005). For five years, he was a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the “Re-qualification program for the military transferred to the reserve” with a budget of $5 million, funded by George Soros in the International Renaissance Foundation. During 1999-2005, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Societe Generale Ladenburg Thalman Fund.

In 2006-2017 he led a private management advisory center (KCM-Kiev), conducted active lecturing, consulting and coaching activities on a number of programs in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Hungary and other countries. Since 2015, he has been working as a Senior Advisor at the Astarta-Kyiv (agro-industrial company).

He is currently a member of the Association for Education Management in Central and Eastern Europe, an Honorary Member of the Association of Ukrainian Professionals of the USA (Washington Group), a member of the Board of Directors of the Washington Transnational Education Group, and a member of the editorial boards of the scientific journals “Postmetodyka” and “Marketing in Ukraine”. Since 2016, he has headed the Supervisory Board of the Victor and Irina Ivanchik Foundation “Believe in Yourself”.

B.Budzan is the author of 160 scientific publications on scientific, technical and socio-economic problems, the development of business education in Ukraine.

The author of the monograph “Management in Ukraine. Realities and Perspectives”, books “Manager’s Reflections” and “On the Way to Yourself”.
