
At a regular meeting of the Board of the National Registry of Corporate Directors (hereinafter – the Registry), it was decided to include Vitaliy Lishchuk, a member of the Supervisory Board of Zaporizhzhya Aluminum Plant JSC, a specialist in risk management, financial analysis and audit, in the Registry.
Vitaliy Lishchuk believes that the introduction of good corporate governance is a key factor in improving the efficiency of the economy’s public and private sectors. He emphasized the importance of supervisory boards that allow for the involvement of independent and professional specialists, implementing the best international corporate governance practices.
Mr. Lishchuk started his professional career in the financial industry in 2007 as a chief risk analyst at a state-owned bank. Subsequently, he held senior positions in the financial sector, specializing in risk management. During this time, he gained significant experience in launching large-scale projects, developing enterprise development strategies, and automating key banking processes.
Since 2016, Vitaliy Lishchuk has been the Head of the Banking Supervision Department at the National Bank of Ukraine. His efforts aimed to implement corporate governance and corporate culture in Ukrainian banks. In 2021, Mr. Lishchuk was appointed an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Zaporizhzhia Aluminum Plant JSC.
