The Corporate Directors Solidarity Fund continues to fulfil its core mission: opening up new professional development opportunities for veterans and helping them build careers in corporate governance.
This summer, three more Fund scholarship recipients successfully completed the Corporate Director Professional Development Program for Board Members, delivered by the Corporate Governance Professional Association (CGPA) and the Ukrainian Corporate Governance Institute.
For each of them, this was more than just a training program. It was an opportunity to master modern approaches to corporate governance, become part of a professional community, and take the next step in their professional development.
A Fund created by the professional community to support veterans
The Corporate Directors Solidarity Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) was established to support Ukrainians who, because of the war, are unable to finance their training independently but are committed to developing professionally in corporate governance. Priority in awarding scholarships is given to service members, veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and owners of businesses affected by the war.
It is particularly valuable that the Fund is sustained by the professional community itself. It is supported by alumni of the Corporate Director program, CGPA members, participants in the Wine Governance charity events, and the Association’s partners, who recognise the importance of supporting veterans in their professional transition.
This year’s scholarship recipients
With the Fund’s support, three war veterans — Andrii Revutskyi, Pavlo Pasichnyk, and Dmytro Leshchenko — participated in the Corporate Director program this year. All three have military experience, as well as substantial professional backgrounds in business, management, entrepreneurship, IT, risk management, operational transformation, and service on supervisory bodies.
Andrii Revutskyi is a manager with more than 20 years of experience in IT and business consulting. He specialises in digital transformation, IT product development, the implementation of business intelligence solutions, and supporting management decisions at the level of company owners and senior executives. He has experience implementing large-scale transformation projects, including the introduction of a BI system in an organisation with more than 230,000 employees. He currently serves as Commercial Director at Innoware.
Pavlo Pasichnyk has diverse professional experience in retail, banking risk management, logistics, public procurement, and commercial management. Since 2016, he has been an entrepreneur in the insurance and geodesy sectors. Pavlo currently serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of Private Joint-Stock Company Innovative Insurance Capital, First Vice President of the Ukrainian Cricket Federation, and a member of the Na Chasi Charitable Foundation.
Dmytro Leshchenko has more than 18 years of management experience across the manufacturing, energy, logistics, healthcare, agricultural, and IT sectors in Ukraine and other European countries. He specialises in business transformation, the development of operating models, crisis management, financial restructuring, and business scaling. He contributed to the development of DTEK’s corporate governance model and led a project to build a management model for Kyivenergo. He also has experience implementing strategic projects in cooperation with the international consulting firms McKinsey, BCG, and Roland Berger.
Training that opens up new opportunities
The Corporate Director program provides participants with a systematic understanding of modern corporate governance and practical tools for serving on supervisory and advisory boards.
During the program, participants explore strategy, the organisation and operation of boards, audit, compliance, risk management, corporate culture, business financing, innovation, artificial intelligence, and board effectiveness evaluation.
How the Fund works
The Corporate Directors Solidarity Fund covers 65% of the participation fee for the Corporate Director program. The Ukrainian Corporate Governance Institute provides scholarship recipients with an additional 30% discount, meaning that each participant pays only 5% of the total training cost.
For prospective applicants, this is an opportunity to gain access to high-quality professional education in corporate governance, join the program’s alumni community, and take the next step in developing their management careers.
Every contribution delivers impact
For the Fund’s donors — particularly alumni of the Corporate Director program — this is an opportunity to support strong and motivated professionals who already have management experience, have demonstrated resilience and responsibility, and now seek to apply these qualities to advancing high-quality corporate governance in Ukraine.
The Corporate Governance Professional Association and the Ukrainian Corporate Governance Institute congratulate Andrii Revutskyi, Pavlo Pasichnyk, and Dmytro Leshchenko on completing the program and thank everyone who supports the Corporate Directors Solidarity Fund.
Every contribution to the Fund is an investment in a new generation of corporate directors who will help Ukrainian companies become stronger, more transparent, and more resilient. Join us!
