Legal Committee<\/b><\/p>\n
The Legal Committee will provide expert support for the CGPA\u2019s activities on legal matters in the field of corporate governance.<\/p>\n
Its main tasks will include analysing legislation and draft regulatory acts, preparing proposals for their improvement, developing recommendations and guidance materials, as well as participating in the formulation of professional standards and corporate governance practices.<\/p>\n
Natalia Shevchenko<\/b> has been elected Chair of the Legal Committee.<\/p>\n
Membership Committee<\/b><\/p>\n
The Membership Committee will be responsible for the development and quality of the CGPA community.<\/p>\n
Its tasks include formulating a policy for attracting new members, developing the membership system, devising benefits and opportunities for different categories of Association members, and increasing the level of engagement and activity among CGPA members.<\/p>\n
Nina Dombrovska<\/b> was elected Chair of the Membership Committee.<\/p>\n
Ethics and Integrity Committee<\/b><\/p>\n
The Ethics and Integrity Committee will serve as an independent forum for addressing issues of professional ethics, integrity and reputational risks.<\/p>\n
The Committee will analyse submissions regarding ethical issues, examine complex situations and prepare recommendations for the PACU Board of Directors on appropriate responses. An important focus of its work will also be the development of a culture of professional ethics and integrity within the Association.<\/p>\n
Oleg Lagodienko<\/b> has been elected Chair of the Ethics and Integrity Committee.<\/p>\n
The committee chairs will coordinate work in their respective areas, encourage CGPA members to participate in committee activities, and develop expert guidance for the advancement of corporate governance in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
CGPA is currently conducting a survey among its members regarding participation in the committees\u2019 work, as well as gathering proposals on new areas of activity and the possible creation of additional committees.<\/p>\n
Going forward, the results of the committees\u2019 work will contribute to the implementation of CGPA\u2019s Development Strategy, the strengthening of the Association\u2019s expert capacity, and the development of the professional corporate governance community in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
