{"id":17414,"date":"2026-05-07T16:45:38","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T13:45:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cgpa.com.ua\/?p=17414"},"modified":"2026-06-05T17:09:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T14:09:08","slug":"sme-transformatsiya-ta-novi-pravyla-dlya-biznesu-klyuchovi-aktsenty-vebinaru-paku-pro-zakonoproyekt-15001","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cgpa.com.ua\/en\/novini\/sme-transformatsiya-ta-novi-pravyla-dlya-biznesu-klyuchovi-aktsenty-vebinaru-paku-pro-zakonoproyekt-15001\/","title":{"rendered":"SME transformation and new business regulations: key takeaways from the CGPA webinar on Bill No. 15001"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<pre><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" data-id=\"17415\" src=\"https:\/\/cgpa.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" class=\"size-full wp-image-17415 alignnone\" style=\"margin: 10px;\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cgpa.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/cgpa.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>\r\n<\/pre>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On 5 May, the CGPA held a webinar entitled \u2018Draft Law No. 15001 and SME Transformation: What Supervisory Boards Need to Know About the New Business Classification Criteria\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The speaker at the event was Anna Levandovska \u2014 owner of Audit-Consulting, an expert in strategic consulting and corporate governance, and a member of the CGPA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the webinar, participants discussed the practical implications of upcoming changes in approaches to the classification of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, the harmonisation of Ukrainian legislation with EU standards, and the impact of these changes on corporate governance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Particular attention was paid to:<br \/>\n\u25aa\ufe0f new business classification criteria and the shift towards assessment based on assets, revenue and FTEs<br \/>\n\u25aa\ufe0f risks for companies associated with the aggregation of group indicators (\u2018the holding company trap\u2019)<br \/>\n\u25aa\ufe0f the impact of XBRL digital reporting on the transparency of business structure<br \/>\n\u25aa\ufe0f the role of supervisory boards in risk management, compliance and strategic planning<br \/>\n\u25aa\ufe0f the need to prepare businesses for ESG requirements and non-financial reporting<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anna Lewandowska emphasised that the changes concern not only accounting or statistical classification, but in fact signify a shift towards a new philosophy of business conduct and corporate governance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAlthough this is still a draft bill, the direction of the changes is already clear: the rules of the game are becoming stricter and more transparent. Assets are becoming decisive; the principle of the group\u2019s economic substance makes it impossible to \u2018fragment\u2019 the business on paper; and the linking of criteria to the euro makes currency monitoring critically important for companies.
