The discussion was joined by: <b>Oleksandr Okuniev<\/b>, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CGPA; <b>Volodymyr Igonin<\/b>, Partner at Vasil Kisil &amp; Partners Law Firm, Member of the Board of Directors of CGPA; <b>Taras Sluchyk<\/b>, Head of the \u201cCities of Integrity\u201d and \u201cIntegrity-Based Reconstruction\u201d components EUACI; <b>Oleksiy Movchan<\/b>, Member of Parliament of Ukraine; <b>Maksym Libanov,<\/b> Member of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission; <b>Dmytro Novytskyi, <\/b>President of the Association \u201cUkrvodokanalekologiya\u201d; and <b>Yulia Mincheva<\/b>, Head of the Integrity Support Office of the Mykolaiv City Council.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" data-id=\"16363\" src=\"https:\/\/cgpa.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/508427179_1083751210613776_6724039751974821738_n-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-16363 alignleft\" style=\"border-width: 10px; margin: 10px;\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cgpa.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/508427179_1083751210613776_6724039751974821738_n-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cgpa.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/508427179_1083751210613776_6724039751974821738_n-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/cgpa.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/508427179_1083751210613776_6724039751974821738_n-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/cgpa.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/508427179_1083751210613776_6724039751974821738_n-1536x1022.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/cgpa.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/508427179_1083751210613776_6724039751974821738_n.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The event brought together industry association leaders, leading lawyers, experts, and municipal reformers to discuss key issues in implementing corporate governance in the municipal sector in line with OECD standards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the discussion, participants sought answers to important questions:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Why should \u201cmunicipal\u201d not be synonymous with \u201cinefficient\u201d?<\/li>\n<li>What corporate governance tools can be applied in municipal enterprises today?<\/li>\n<li>How can international OECD standards enhance transparency, accountability, and investment attractiveness of enterprises?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\ud83d\udcac <b>Taras Sluchyk<\/b>, Head of the EUACI&#8217;s \u201cCities of Integrity\u201d component, emphasized that <b>supervisory boards of municipal enterprises are a real opportunity for management professionals to contribute to the country&#8217;s critical infrastructure<\/b>, apply their experience, and influence the quality of services for communities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\ud83d\udcac <b>Oleksiy Movchan<\/b>, Deputy Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, presented <b>a draft law on the mandatory implementation of corporate governance in critical infrastructure municipal enterprises<\/b>.
