The Corporate Governance Professional Association (CGPA), in collaboration with the Ukrainian Corporate Governance Institute, has urgently established the Corporate Directors Solidarity Fund (the \u201cFund\u201d)<\/a> to provide crucial support to corporate directors who are currently unable to finance their studies due to the ongoing war.<\/p>\nThe Fund will provide scholarships for participation in the Corporate Director Program (hereinafter referred to as the Program) to persons who are (were) involved in professional corporate governance but are unable to finance their participation in the Program due to military operations. Priority will be given to military personnel and veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and business owners affected by military operations.<\/p>\n
The scholarships are awarded in accordance with the decision of the CGPA Board of Directors on the proposal of the Nomination Committee, which reviews all received applications and attached documents. Currently, the Nomination Committee consists of three CGPA Board of Directors members: Oleksandr Okuniev, Natalia Lysa, Igor Savkin and representatives of military and veteran organisations Serhiy Zhuykov and Serhiy Poznyak. The procedure for submitting and reviewing applications and awarding scholarships is regulated by the Regulations on the Corporate Directors Solidarity Fund.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the active participation of our Program alumni, we have already raised UAH 164,000, which makes it possible to provide three scholarships for participation in the fall Corporate Director Program.<\/p>\n

To apply for a scholarship, you must complete the application form and electronically submit all the necessary documents to fund@cgpa.com.ua. All documents are thoroughly reviewed, and the Nomination Committee members conduct interviews with the candidates. The results of these interviews are taken into account when making a decision on granting the scholarship.<\/p>\n
