Information on activities in the field of corporate governance

He has over 20 years' experience in corporate governance both in state-owned companies (“Ukrainian railways”, energy company “Kyivenergo”) and in large private industrial and financial holdings - DCH group and Donetsksteel group. In addition, he has over 5 years' experience in the banking sector of Ukraine.

The main experience includes not only service on supervisory boards of industrial companies and financial institutions, but also experience in creating, organizing and evaluating the activities of supervisory boards in various industries.

Key expertise for supervisory boards (boards of directors):

• implementation of the best corporate governance practices;
• creation of internal control systems (IAS, risk management and compliance);
• organization of the work of the supervisory board on remuneration, assessment and nominations.

Currently, he also provides consulting services as an independent expert on corporate governance issues:

• building corporate governance systems for individual companies (businesses), creating and launching the work of supervisory boards, assistance in the selection of their members;
• assessment of corporate governance systems of the company, including assessment of the work of supervisory boards;
• construction of corporate governance systems for groups of companies, including design and creation of a corporate center.

Information about the history of membership in CGPA

Member of CGPA since 2010. In 2015-2017 he was twice elected as a member of the Board of CGPA.

Education information

He has a degree in economics (Kyiv State University of Trade and Economics), a PhD in Economics and an MBA  from New Brunswick University (Canada).
