On June 15, 2018, the Public meeting with the first persons of the British Institute of Corporate Governance – ICSA: The Governance Institute was held. The event was devoted to the opportunities for the development and improvement of Ukrainian specialists in corporate governance. The presentation of the British Institute of Corporate Governance and its qualification in Ukraine was conducted by the leadership of ICSA, namely: Chief Executive Officer Simon Osborn and Head of the Outreach Theresa Minnie.
S.Osborne spoke about the history of the establishment of the Institute, its advantages, as well as the opportunities that are open to the members of the Institute. T. Minnie, in turn, dwelled on the qualifications that Ukrainian specialists can receive, the peculiarities of admission and the learning process. The question of the process of passing the exams aroused great interest. Since December 2017 the Ukrainian Corporate Governance Institute has become the official sole examination center of the British Institute in Ukraine and in continental Europe. Qualifications of ICSA Ukrainian specialists can already receive without leaving Ukraine. The meeting with the leadership of the Institute enabled the participants to receive information and answers to questions from the first mouth. Despite the fact that the language of the meeting was English, the discussion was lively and the participants raised many questions.
